A stack of heaviness I swam through
I walked across the syrup of thought
I dreamed of floating and moved weightless within the night sky
I touched that which had no form
I sang a song of longing and wish that only I could know
Know of futures found , where truth was felt with my body
Where my search ended in quiet delight.
I can only pray my wish is not forgotten or lost in folds of future nothing
I can only hope that one day I rest and know.

The dark breath of my insomnia drew me to her
As the stomached asked for answers I could not find
These passages of ticking hands and windy metaphors told me nothing
I would reach out to this night of moons and magi
This space of starlight prophecy
Eyes closed, fist clenched I willed her from the shadows
I lured her from the diffuse contours of my imagination into my heart
Into my loving, beating heart.
With words of jasmine and songs of a lost birds
I told her of my love, my deep and abiding contentment, of our wonderful together.
