10 Poems: Of Love and Longing.
Unable to shake, impossible to conceal.
The TV tells my story, leaving a picture of my envy.
Across a disposed sadness, I was compelled by a hunger that drew colour
AÂ zealot lost and lonely, I worked to conjure up a reason.
In my stomach only memories, those tell to me as a father and companion.
So in this thickness I worked to travel
To trespass over wounds, that seem to grow quieter in their nature.
From a circle to a spiral, they invite and entice me
To heal and to follow
So with unity I may discover
In which that place always yearn for
Was a point that could elude me.
Yet deep within my hearts ear
I could hear it wish and call for
My soul in its quiet
So tranquil and so dear
So here and contended
With just that I could continue
Through this dream of weight and unending
For this my return
To all I know to be true
To all I shall be with.
